Session Description: Cancer is personal to me; I have had cancer twice—in 1991 and 2006. During my treatments I used many quality concepts to maintain my mental and physical health. I was fortunate to use medical devices and drugs for which I had either been part of the design or manufacturing team. I will expand on how I used quality concepts on my journey with cancer; along with how my work in the medical industry become personal to me as I used drugs and devices to save my own life.
